4. Lighting - Intro
Setting up the perfect Scene in Unreal. Is it possible ? It is.
Sometimes you just need to appreciate the simple things—like a basic cube at (0,0,0). Here is a quick workflow refresh on scene setup:
- Always reset your geometry to 0,0,0 in the Details panel immediately. It’s the only way to maintain sanity.
- Fixing "Slow" Light: If your lighting takes time to adjust when you hit Play, it's all fault of the Auto Exposure turned on.
- Global Illumination is great for realism, but let's take a look how to disable it: you'll never know when you'll need to sacrifice it for the sake of a better performance.
